the 68^th Regt Ky Enrolled Militia are now on duty at this post, under an order from the Governor. Calling them into the service for 30 days, we have no Camp & Garrison Equipage, I made the enclosed requisition upon the Brigade Quartermaster at this post, he proposes to issue upon the requisition in the event the Governor will endorse his approval upon the requisition.

This is the second time this (68^th) Reg^t. has been called into the service we have no means of procuring articles necessary for its use unless authority be given us to purchase. I would respectfuly suggest that authority be given me to purchase such articles
as are necessary for the use of the Regiment upon the apporveal or order of the C^ol Commanding.
