To Your Excellency The Governor of the Common Wealth of Kentucky Your petitioner Elizabeth Griffith sixty years of age and has Ever bean Loyal to the Government had three sons Volonteerd in the 14th Ky Inft Ridgement & Last June the only son Liveing with me when not seventeen years old stole off with out my Knowledge or consent and Volenteered with L B Hutcerson in Co [ ] Your Petitioner represent to Your Excelency that she has went & Demanded hur son of the capt & he refuses to give him up Therefore Your petioner prays your honour to release hur son Harrison Griffith From the servse as he is a boy of weak constitution & Veary Desireous to return home to his mother The company has never bean organized or received any pay or Mustered in any serves Therefore your petioner humbly prays your honor to dis charge the said Harrison Griffith from the presant In listment & in duy bound Will Ever pray &C
