12. At the request of the Governor of Kentucky, Private J. J. Ennis, 20th Kentucky Volunteers, is hereby honorably discharged the service of the United States, to date May 27th, 1864, to enable him to accept a commission in the 54th Kentucky Six Months' Infantry.
