Your communication of the 14^th inst to His Excellency Gov^r Bramlette, has been referred to this office for reply. I have the honor to inclose herein Gen^l Orders N^o 3 relative to raising the 10.000 troops called out for 6 months. You will observe that the points of rendezvous are designated in this order, and your son can report his men to the Agents of the state, at the nearest post there mentioned. Orders for the transportation of your men will be furnished upon application to any of the designated Agents — I send per mail acts of enlistment, your son will send one copy of each recruits act of enlistment to these H^d qrs, and proceed in all respects similar to raising troops for 3 years. The men will be drafted if they do not volunteer —
