Inclosing a letter from Capt T. J Bush by order of Col Flint suspending his muster as Col of the 34^th Says he made application to Maj Gen^l Foster to have his regiment sent to Ky to recruit, and he said it was not necessary. as he could muster with his present strength a Col. & Lt Col, but the majority would be vacant. Desires you to make application to Secy of War to set aside the order suspending his muster
