Special Order

Col. W. B. Craddock will proceed to M^t Sterling the Camp of the 40: Ky Infantry and take charge of the Recruits mentioned in the annexed Muster Roll, and bring them to Frankfort. said Recruits will form a part of the 30: Regiment.

On examination of the United States Muster Rolls, of the 40^th Regiment ten full companies have been mustered you wil therefore notify Col. C. J. True that he cannot recruit any more men for his Regiment without authority from these Head Quarters.
