I have the honor to call your attention to the fact, that His Excellency the Governor of Kentucky has not received a report of the vacancies and strength of Ky regiments serving in the Department of the Cumberland, since July 28^th 1864. The information contained in said reports is very essential, and enables me to keep the different commands fully officered as required. I respectfully call your attention to General Orders N^o 182 A. G. O 1863. Section 2^d.
