GENERAL ORDER
No. 2.

The militia law approved March 4th, 1865, repeals the militia laws previously enacted by the General Assembly of Kentucky that conflict therewith; consequently, all the militia officers in the different Regimental Districts of Kentucky are relieved of their commands. There are now no militia officers or organizations in Kentucky, except the appointments and organizations under the recent law of March 4, 1865.

Only one company of Active Militia from each county or regimental district will be organized at present under said law.

Unless a company of Active Militia, in each county or regimental district, is organized by the 10th day of May next, a draft will be ordered.
