I have seen Dr. Pinkerton he is perfectly unwell so much so as to be entirely unable to follow the Reg^t.You shall have the appointment. You can join the Reg^t. immediately at Nashville Dr. Rodgers, is sick, at home leaving the Reg^t at this time totaly without a Physician

If you decline the appointment to this position you will inform me immediately so that I can procure another
