Chrisman, Fannie Chrisman, Lucy D. Chrisman, Jimonie Chrisman, Cabell P. Chrisman, and Frances Esler Chrisman Brown. Engaged in agriculture, studied law, and admitted to the bar in 1849. Practiced law in Monticello, Kentucky. Member of the 1849 Kentucky Constitutional Convention from Wayne County, Kentucky. Owned five enslaved persons in Wayne County in 1850. Democratic party member of the United States House of Representative from the Fourth Congressional District of Kentucky from 1853 to 1855. Owned six enslaved persons in Wayne County in 1860. Member of the Council of Ten in the Provisional Government of Kentucky. Member of the Committee on Foreign Relations for the Provisional Government of Kentucky. Fifth Congressional District Member of the House of Representatives of the First and Second Confederate Congress from 1862 to 1865.
