Prentis, Earnest Prentis, Lucy T. Prentis, Hallack Prentis, and Beauscan Prentis. Educated at William & Mary College in Williamsburg, Virginia. Purchased land on which Lewisport, Kentucky, was founded. Magistrate in Hancock County. One of the founders of the Lewisport Pond Draining Company in 1858. Farmer in Hancock County in 1860. Owned three enslaved persons in Hancock County in 1860.
