Member of the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Kentucky from Hancock County from 1855 to 1857. One of the founders of the Lewisport Pond Draining Company in 1858. Farmer in Hancock County in 1860. Sheriff of Hancock County in 1864. Killed as a result of Confederate guerilla raids in Hancock County in August 1864.
