Father of Letitia Eskridge, James G. Eskridge, Morris Eskridge, Marian Eskridge, Roscoe Eskridge, Alfred Eskridge, Jennie F. Eskridge, Melville Eskridge, and Henry M. Eskridge. Cabinetmaker in Breckinridge County from 1827 to 1872. Justice of the peace in Breckinridge County from 1837 to 1862. Owned two enslaved persons in 1850 and five in 1860. U.S. Commissioner in Breckinridge County during the Civil War. Judge of the Breckinridge County Court from 1862 to 1866.
