Employed Nancy Lovelace in Covington, Kentucky in 1860. Served in 23rd Kentucky Volunteer Infantry (U.S.A.) as captain from December 16, 1861 to July 24, 1864. Died in military service near Atlanta, Georgia on July 24, 1864.
