Employed Ellen McCormick as a domestic servant in Jefferson County in 1860. Owned five enslaved persons in Jefferson County in 1860. Partner with J.P. Curtis and Henry P. Rutter in the banking firm Curtis & Warren in Louisville in 1860 and in 1861. Founder of the firm C.N. Warren & Company Bankers in Louisville from 1861 to 1865.
