Father of Henry E. Christie. Student in Taylor County in 1850. Farmer in Adair County in 1860. Served in the 13th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry Regiment (U.S.A.) as a first sergeant and first lieutenant from December 31, 1861 to January 12, 1865.
