Green County, Kentucky, and Arapahoe County, Kansas, farmer and soldier. Kentucky native. Son of John Victor and Martha Victor. Farmer in Green County, Kentucky, in 1850. Household owned two enslaved persons in Green County in 1850. Resident of Arapahoe County, Kansas, in 1860. Served in the 13th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry Regiment (U.S.A.) as a second lieutenant captain from December 31, 1861, to July 13, 1864. Wounded at the Battle of Kennesaw Mountain, Cobb County, Georgia, on June 27, 1864. Died from wounds received at the Battle of Kennesaw Mountain. Died from wounds received on July 13, 1864.
