Fled as a contraband to Louisville in September 1862. Cook and domestic servant in the household of Willis Levi Jr., and Anna Levi from September 1862 to February 1863. Convicted of the murder of Blanche Levi in May 1863. Pardoned by Thomas E. Bramlette on September 24, 1863.
