Muir, Upton W. Muir, Lilian Muir, Nellie Muir, and Sophronia Muir. Graduated from Hanover College in Jefferson County, Indiana. Attorney in Nelson County, Kentucky. Opened law practice in partnership with Thomas Riley in Louisville in 1852. Circuit judge of the 5th Judicial District of Kentucky from 1858 to 1864.
