Jefferson County, Kentucky, cemetery. A workhouse and adjacent cemetery were constructed in Louisville, Jefferson County Kentucky in 1850 and subsequently demolished in 1968, and the cemetery's location is best described as part of Eastern Cemetery. The Potter's Field was a known location for obtaining bodies for anatomical research in the Medical and Anatomy Departments of the University of Louisville in Louisville during the nineteenth century.
