Hd Qers 47th Ky Infty Vols
Camp Nelson Ky.
I Andrew H. Clark, Lt Col Comdg 47th Ky Infty vols, being duly Sworn, make the following Statements: Viz: that the causes which led to my resignation, as Captn Co "D" 7th Ky Infty, had their origin in an unpleasant state of feeling which (at the time I tendered my ressignation) existed between the Commander of the regiment and myself.
I further state that this unfortunate State of feeling influenced the Commander of the regiment to treat me unkindly, and with disrespect. Forbearance ceased to be a virtue and I could no longer be subservient to Such wanton unkindness.
