The official organization of Kentucky military forces under the command of the Adjutant General of Kentucky. Organized into infantry, cavalry, and artillery regiments. Civil War-era Adjutant Generals: Scott Brown (1859-1861); John W. Finnell (1861-1863); John Boyle (1863-1864); Daniel W. Lindsey (1864-1867).
