To His Excelency the Governor of Kentucky
The undersigned officers of the Henry Circuit Court and Citizens who are knowing to the facts here submitted; would state to your Excelency that for some years past fines have been imposed by, the Jury's in the said Circuit Court agt person's under Indictments for various offences- that executions had from time to time been placed into the Shff's hands of said County without Success of Satisfaction- that the Trustee of the Jury fund finding it his duty to renew Said Executions and to issue others on Judgments agt others did on the [...] day of [...] 18[...]issue cause all of said Executions to issue & placed the same into the hands of C M Humston late Shff of said County on the [...] day of [...] 18[...] and that he retained the Same in his hands (hoping that by waiting the Commonwealth might make Some of his demands) until the [...] day of [...] 186[...] thereby subjecting said H[...] as Shff to a motion on the part of said Trustee to a and at the
respectfully petition, that the Judgt afd be [...] yr clemency remitted So far as the Com Wealth is concerned, and particularly as the said Exos have been again renewed and [...] now placed into the hands of the present Shff of said County for Collection — and the Com Wealth may by the last Excos receive full Satisfaction of her claims agt the Sveral persons agt whom fines have been assessed — & Will We Will pray &c
