Long Rutherford in Christian County, Kentucky, on June 9, 1849. Father of Andrew J. Rutherford, James M. Rutherford, and Mary C. Rutherford. Barkeeper in Crittenden County, Kentucky, in 1850. Book merchant in Crittenden County in 1860. Merchant in Crittenden County in 1863. Charged with perjury in Vanderburgh County, Indiana, in 1865. Fugitive from justice in Crittenden County in 1865.
