To his Excellency Thomas E. Bramlet

Your undersigned petitioners State that at the March term of the Pulaski circuit court 1865, Doc William F Robertson was find $200 upon a charge of Permitting unlawful gaming in in a house of which he was owner and occupier, they state that he confessed Judgment under the following circumstances, that he attended the Court every day for more than a week, waiting the call of his case, with his witnesses and that he had witness present to prove to~~prove~~ that on all occasions he had forbid any Gaming about the house and that he had always endeavored to Stop it when any attemp was make, but that he confessed the judgement so as he could go home and attend to the sick in his nabourhood Your petitioners State that they are
personally well acquainted with Doc Robertson & they know he is a clever man and an industrous persevering man, but has a large famly to suport is poor and a cripple, they therefor pray your Excellency to remit that part of the fine gong to the commonwealth
