The undersigned respectfully represent, that at the December Term 1864 of the Kenton Circuit Court, Frank Dickerson was Indicted and at the ensuing — March Term 1865 was tried and convicted for carrying concealed a Pistol on the day of the Presidential election. He was fined Fifty dollars which together with the Costs amount to Sixty-one or two dollars — Mr Dickerson is a worthy mechanic, peaceable and industrious — he has a wife and children and is a very poor man. It will be a great relief to him to be discharged from so much of said Fine as belongs to the Com'th. We recommend him as worthy of Executive clemency and respectfully ask the Governor to remit his fine in the manner herein before stated.
