The Grand Jury of Caldwell County in the name and by the authority of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: accuse Walter M^cChesney J O Hunter Charles Hooper and Benjamin T Gray of the crime of Robery committed as follows. viz The said Walter M^cChesney J O Hunter Charles Hooper and Benjamin T Gray on the 30^th day of October 1862, in the county aforesaid feloniously took dry goods and merchandize the property of R B Ratliff and J H Garrett from the possession and in the presence of said J H Garrett, and against the will of said R B Ratliff and said J H Garrett by putting said J H Garrett in fear of some immediate injury to his person, against the peace and dignity of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
