Your Petitioners would respectfully represent that a Judgment was obtained at the June term of the Henderson Circuit Court in the name of the Commonwealth of Kentucky against D. N Walden late sheriff of Henderson County for Forty — Dollars for failing to take sufficient security on a ~~capiasprofine~~ Bench warrant against Charles Henessey — Mr. Walden took the individual Bond of Henessey — and sufferd him to go to find his security and did not return — we are satisfied that Mr Walden acted in good faith and in ~~full~~ lenient discharge of his duty — but trusted too much to the defendant's honesty to return — If you can find it consistent with your duty, it would confer a favour on us, the friends of Mr Walden, by remitting the fine
