Bruce presented a petition from James Lyon's praying the remission of a fine of $60 & costs inflicted upon him by the Lexington City Court for Selling liquor without license — The remission of said fine not being within the jurisdiction of the Council, on motion of Mr B G Bruce said petition was unanimously refered to His Excellency the Governor recommending the remission of said fine —
