The Grand Jury of Anderson in the name and by the authority of the Commonwealth of Kentucky accuse Benjamin Houser James Taylor William Harrison jr Terry Brown William Clark Lycurges Hudson and Jessee Hill of the crime of Murder and committed as follows The said Benjamin Houser James Taylor W^m Harrison Jr Terry Brown William Clark Lycurges Hudson and Jessee Hill on the 5^th day of July 1864 in the county aforesaid did feloniously and of malice aforethought kill and murder John Ash by shooting him with a gun or pistol against the peace and dignity of the Commonwealth of Kentucky
