I hereby certify that on the 8 day of Oct. 1863 I was robbed of $350 — Three Hundred and fifty dollars by the Guerilla, James Keller, — consisting in part, of two one Hundred dollar bills — Keller was captured two days after, and with an accomplice was found $373 — Three hundred and seventythree dollars — consisting in part of two one hundred dollar bills — the whole in U.S. money as was all that stolen from the subscriber — and while heI believes the whole amount of ~~his~~my money was found — heI isam morally certain that the recovered two one hundred dollars bills are identically the same as those stolen from ~~him~~me. The money was taken possession of, by Lieut Col. Matson of the 71^st Regt Mo. Mounted Infantry.

HeI therefore prays that the money may be returned to ~~him~~me, as ~~his~~my family is destitute, and absolutely need all their just dues.
