Dear sir

I understand that two of our Military Companies here will in a short time secure New stores of arms and those they now have will be returned to the state Thinking perhaps we may need some here for home Guard I thought I would apply to use for the use of these guns for the city If you should not want the use of them otherwise I have a fine Room the upper storrey in the Engine House Near my office that I would use as an arsnal where I could attend to them and keep them in order
and should they be wanting at any time by the state they shall be forth coming immediately
