By a meeting of our citizens on last evening, we were appointed a Committee, for the purpose of Corresponding with you, to ascertain Whether, if a company is formed here for the purpose of aiding in the defence of Kentuckies honor,, her interests, and the Constitutional rights of her people. the state will furnish them arms from the public armory or not, and when & how we can get them- hopeing a prompt response to this we remain your friends and obt svts
