Todd County, Kentucky, physician. Campbell County, Virginia, native. Son of James Campbell and Mary Bell McReynolds McReynolds. Married to Julia P. Gorin McReynolds in June 1853. Married to Ellen M. Reeves McReynolds in January 1859. Father of Mary B. McReynolds and James C. McReynolds. Attended the G. P. Street Academy in Christian County, Kentucky. Studied medicine under James A. McReynolds in 1846. Graduated from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1849. Moved to Elkton, Kentucky. Physician in Elkton from 1849 to 1870. Owned twenty-four enslaved persons in Todd County in 1860.
