W^m Beck. Cha^s Reel & Casper Winterstein Defts

The Affiant Mary Weir, states that she was at Mrs Brockmans house, on the night. that said Mrs. Brockman, alledged that the house of her husband was stoned, that at about 2 oclock on said night certain persons were passing said house, and were talking loud that some rocks were thrown on the porch of said house, and that at said time, Mrs Brockman sent her for one of the neighbors and when she returned, Mrs Brockman fired off a gun. and remarked to Affiant that the gun had given her an awfull push in the side, that no Rocks, stones or bricks were thrown in the house, that the house did not on that night receive any damage whatever from stones rocks &c. but on the day following she heard Mrs Brockman ascribe the injury she received from the push of the gun, to a stone thrown by one of the defts. that she is enabled to identify the time by having her attention called. to it by Mrs Brockman, and that in May or June preceeding said night, the house which said Brockman then resided, was ~~destroyed~~ damaged by the throwing
of Stones. and that all marks of injury was then received by said house. and that she did not Know. the persons passing but that every effort was made by Mrs Brockman to induce Affiant to swear that Defts Reel & Winterstein were the persons passing, when in truth, she did not know who said persons were. and that when said gun was fired there was no one near said house
