Cunningham, Sheriff of said County of Harrison, makes oath and says that Samuel Allen, late of said County, against whom an indictment for assault and battery with intent to murder has been presented in the Harrison Circuit Court in said State of Indiana, is absent from said State, and is in a boat at Cedar Branch, Meade County, Kentucky, as affiant is informed and believes.
