To his Excelency Governer Robinson,

Your petitioners would respectfully represent that one James Loyd formerly a citazen of Allen County Ky. has been confin in the Penitentiary of Ky for something over seven years. past. his Sentence being for Ten years — We believe that Said Loyd is Innocent of the charge for which he was convicted and respectfully ask your Executive clemency in his behalf.

I As S Walker hereby certify that I was a witness in the case of James Loyd named in the above Petition and at the instance of the s^d Loyd made an examination per vaginum of the Female by whom Loyd was of the crime of Rape.

From the condition of all the genital parts I was & am still well satisfied that Loyd or no one else had ever had sexual intercourse with s^d woman I consequently never have believed James Loyd guilty of the charge or crime of which he was convicted and believe his a just & proper case for the Executive Clemency
