4,, The resignation of 1^st Lieut. John L, Reid Co. "B" 40th Ky. vol. Infantry is hereby accepted, to take effect Febry 3^d 1864, with the condition that he shall receive no final payment until he exhibits satisfactory evidence from the head of the Ordnance Department, and the proper accounting officers of the Treasury, that he has made all prescribed returns, and is in no wise indebted to the Government.
