By directions of his Excellency Govr Bramlette, the resignation of Lt Col Chas F. Starling of the 48^th Reg^t E M of Henderson Co is accepted. By the same authority James W Poole is commissioned Colonel of the 48^th Regt E M. vice James H. Halloway resigned, bearing date 4^th June 1864.
