Gov Bramlett Hon sir after my respects to you I take the opertunity to inform you that I have lost boath of my commissions as second & first Lt of co J 1 Ky cav they were captured by the enemy on the Stoneman raid I was commissioned as Second Lt July the 4^th 18643 and as first Lt June the 30^th 1864 please Send me a ~~copp~~ copy of the two commissions & confer a favor on your friend & humble servt
