I have the honor to enclose a letter from Col Wolford.

I saw him on Monday, and he was pleased to say, that he would be glad if you would at once issue my commission

He requested me to say to you, 'that it would be necessary to have a mustering officer at Lebanon by the 19^th inst — as the Companies would be on the ground by that time.

He is confident that he will have more than enough to fill his Regiment.
