Somerset, Kentucky attorney, businessman, politician, and soldier. Married to Virginia C. Bradley Morrow. Father of Margaret Morrow, Edwin F. Morrow, W. Boyd Morrow, Mary C. Morrow, William A. Morrow, Charles Morrow, Sam Morrow, and Thomas Z. Morrow, Jr. Graduate of Centre College in 1855. Graduate of the Transylvania University Law Department. Member of the Republican Party and one of the founders of the Republican Party of Kentucky. Elected as Pulaski County attorney in 1858. Attorney in Somerset in 1860. Organized the 32nd Kentucky Volunteer Infantry Regiment (U.S.A.) from 1861 to 1862. Served in the 32nd Kentucky Volunteer Infantry Regiment (U.S.A.) as lieutenant colonel from 1862 to 1863. Member of the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Kentucky from 1861 to 1863. Canvassed on behalf of Abraham Lincoln in the 1864 Presidential Election. Member of the Senate of the Commonwealth of Kentucky from 1865 to 1869.
