Garrard County, Kentucky, tailor and soldier. Kentucky native. Son of Hiram Wortham. Student in Lincoln County, Kentucky, in 1850. Household owned eight enslaved persons in Lincoln County in 1850. Tailor in Garrard County in 1860. Owned one enslaved person in Garrard County in 1860. Served in the 11th Kentucky Volunteer Cavalry Regiment (U.S.A.) as a private and sergeant from September 22, 1862 to July 14, 1865.
