Your petitioners, the undersigned, would respectfully represent & state that One, Jesse T. McCormack, was recognized to appear at the July term 1862 of the Warren Equity & criminal court, in a bond of fourhundreddollars, with the Subscribers his Securities. The said Jesse T. is & was a young & inexperienced man & by the advise of evil disposed persons & contrary to the advise & wishes of your petitioners, he left this State & of Consequince, his bond was, at the Feby. term 1863, forfeited ^and judgement rendered thereon at s^d last mentioned term^ & your peititioners are now liable to pay the judgement of 400$ so as aforesaid rendered against them- By the courtesy of the Comth's. atty. the execution is suspended until we can hear from your excellency- Now we beg leave to State that all of us, with One exception, are in very limited cirumstances & have as much as we can conveniently do to Support our families & to pay the af^d judgment, altho'. apparently Small, will oppress us- Wherefore we respectfully ^pray^ a remission of the af^d Judgt. or so much thereof as you are authorized to remit-
