"EXTRACT."

The resignation of Surgeon Joseph G. Roberts, 40th Ky Vol. Infty is hereby accepted, to take effect April 25^th 1864, with the condition that he shall receive no final payment until he exhibits satisfactory evidence from the head of the Ordnance Department, and the proper accounting officers of the Treasury, that he has made all prescribed returns, and is in no wise indebted to the Government.
