According to the provisions of the Militia law, approved Aug 31^st 1862- each County Court Clerk is to keep recorded in his office a complete list of the names of the Enrolled Militia of his County, and shall furnish the Adjutant General with a copy of such record, prior to the 1^st day of September of each year.

While many have been thus furnished — I do not find that you have complied with this provision of the law.

You will be expected to send such list to this office immediately
