Anderson, Nancy A. Anderson, Herbert L. Anderson, Robert L. Anderson, Mayes Anderson, and Lillian Anderson. Admitted to the bar in Kentucky in 1845. Attorney in Graves County in 1850. Household owned eleven enslaved persons in Graves County in 1850. Presidential elector for the Whig Party from the 1st District of Kentucky in 1852. Member of the House of Representatives for the Commonwealth of Kentucky from Graves County from 1855 to 1857. Attorney in Graves County in 1860. Owned five enslaved persons in Graves County in 1860. Member of the United States House of Representatives from the First Congressional District of Kentucky from 1863 to 1865. Delegate to the Republican National Convention in 1864. Accused of extorting citizens in Paducah in July and August 1864.
