Henry County, Kentucky, deputy sheriff and circuit court clerk. Kentucky native. Son of C. M. Humston and Susan Humston. Married to Gabriella Keightly Humston in LaGrange, Kentucky, on May 19, 1863. Student in Henry County in 1850. Deputy sheriff in Henry County in 1860. Clerk of the Henry Circuit Court from 1863 to 1867.
